With Email
dropping, you can Drop files into your IBackup account by simply
emailing mails/ attachments to 'username'@ibackup.com. You will need
to enable 'email dropping' feature first at 'My IBackup' section.
This feature can
be turned on and off at the 'My IBackup' section of your account.
By default, this feature is turned OFF for security reasons. You will
need to enable this at the 'My IBackup' section after succesful login
through the browser of your account.
How
do I forward EMails to my account ?
You have options
to store the attachments and the body of the message, or just the
attachments.
For certain
email clients such as Netscape Messenger, you will need to set the
'forward messages as 'Inline' for the attachments' to be dropped
correctly into the IBackup accounts.
Where
are the EMail contents and attachments stored ?
The email files
and attachments will be stored in 'IncomingMail' folder in your account.
Whenever
I drop an email to my account, it is not being received in my 'IncomingMail'
Folder. Why?
Both your IBackup
username and the email ID (username@ibackup.com) that you are using
to drop the emails are case sensitive. For example, if your IBackup
username is 'john', you would email to 'john@ibackup.com' and not
John@ibackup.com.
